United Way of Buffalo & Erie County
United Way of Buffalo & Erie County brings people, organizations and resources together to improve community well-being.
We’re live at Oishei Children’s Hospital kicking off our 10th annual Community Baby Shower! We know that providing low-income mothers in our community with things like diapers, thermometers, and board books can make a huge long-term difference for their children. Through May 9th, we’ll be collecting newborn essentials as part of our Community Baby Shower. These items will be bundled together and distributed through our community partners to mothers most in need. Learn more here:bit.ly/2JKjAAt - Citibank US Oishei Children's Hospital2 months ago
Today, Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul is announcing seven programs that will receive phase two funding under the Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative (ESPRI) in Buffalo. The seven projects are a direct result of the Governor's $25 million initiative to help 16 communities develop locally-driven strategies to reduce poverty and increase economic opportunity for all New Yorkers.2 months ago
Without volunteers our community wouldn’t be quite the place that we call home today. For International Volunteer Day, we’d like to thank all of the people who give their time and talent to make Buffalo & Erie County a better place for everyone. Are you on the hunt for a volunteer opportunity? Check out VolunteerWNY to learn how you can give back. #IVD20186 months ago
