The Animal Haven
The Animal Haven is a No Kill, Not for profit Animal shelter run by a board of directors all of whom are volunteers.
Morning everyone this is flappy! She may have a disability but you would never know it with the way she runs around and plays. She was born with this and gets along just fine! She is adorable with the cutest little face and is an absolute love!! Cats with disabilities tend to stay in shelters to long because they want that “perfect kitten” but we here at Animal Haven believe she is!! (She has been throughly checked out by vets and she actually has improved since she was a baby) This is just the way this little angel 😇 was made ❤️❤️❤️2 months ago
CeCe wants to tell everyone something! She would love a home for the holidays! She is about 8 years old and is a tiny but fierce little baby! She has a lot of spunk for her size which we adore! However because she thinks she is big and bad 🐺 she sometimes likes things on her terms! So she would do best without young children! Come visit her today!!3 months ago
The Animal Haven’s Annual Holiday Fair took place on November 24th at the North Haven Congregational Church, and as always it was quite a success and lots of fun for everyone. We had a record number of customers this year! The Fair takes a lot of planning and effort and would not have been possible without the hard work and support of the people and businesses who contributed in so many ways. Whether you donated crafts or baked goods to sell, helped with advertising or volunteered at a table, The Animal Haven greatly appreciates your contributions. We raised over $2,100 for the shelter and couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you so much to everyone whose efforts made the Fair possible, including: Reverend Scott, Julie and Kirk at North Haven Congregational Church, Charlotte Timberman, Sharon and Stan Rogalski, all of the vendors, Whitney Donut Shop, Shore Publishing, Pam Landry at WQUN, WPLR, Channel 8 TV, Donna Cifaldi, Michelle LeMoine, Debbie Donofrio, Nancy Suski, Mary Wargo, Jen Garofalo, Tina Casarella, Brittany Feller, Kate Brolet, Jan Christensen, Elaine Keith, MaryAnn Mecca, Kathy Diotaiuto, Annie McKeon, Tinisha Narain, Carla Boucher, Alison DeMaio, Rob Friedman, Taylor Prouty, Carol Vollano, Marion DeNegre, and Toni and friends at Yale. And, a special thank you to Chris Gagne, who was the Chairperson and primary organizer of The Animal Haven Holiday Fair this year, as she has been for many years.4 months ago
I think she knows she is safe! Breaks our hearts to see that this poor baby could have been euthanized if it wasn’t for a team of angels 👼 to rescue her! She knows she is safe I feel it in my heart....it takes a village...thank you to all those who were involved! This is what rescue is about..... whoever adopts this baby issues and all is truly blessed! People need to give the less fortunate a chance 😘😘😘6 months ago
*emergency* We have these adorable sweet babies who have Cerebellar Hypoplasia. (Wobble kittens) they are so sweet and it is truly heartbreaking. They really could use a foster (or foster to adopt) if anyone is interested or would like to know about them please email me [email protected]7 months ago
