Ignite Adult Learning Corporation
Ignite Adult Learning Corporation is a not-for-profit, community-based employer that helps solve social issues faced by at-risk young adults.
Operating in Regina, Saskatchewan since 1990, the organization helps at-risk young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 years develop the skills they need to move away from negative behaviours and financial dependency to become self-supporting and contributing members of the community.
Ignite does not provide a band-aid solution. Rather, it uses a highly successful approach that helps at-risk young adults build personal strength, inspires their hopes and dreams, empowers them to live to their full potential, and results in real and lasting social and economic change in the community.
Ignite’s graduates are living proof that—with the support of the private, public and community sectors—cycles of poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment are not inevitable. Marginalized young adults can change the direction of their lives and build brighter futures as confident, self-reliant members of society.
